Deputies responded at approximately 5:27 a.m. to 47350 NW Otis Lane in unincorporated Washington County to assist the Forest Grove Fire Department. Firefighters had been dispatched after a 911 caller reported a vehicle fire in the area.

When firefighters arrived, they discovered human remains and requested assistance from law enforcement. Responders ultimately located five deceased people at the property, along with several domestic animals. Authorities have not released the identities of the victims or provided complete details about their injuries.

Initial emergency communications indicated that multiple deceased people were found near a vehicle.
