Huzayfah Aziz Algaheim, Konstantin Gerantidi and Abdul Rehman Obituary, BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Huzayfah Aziz Algaheim, 18, Konstantin Gerantidi, 17, and Abdul Rehman, 16, have died following a devastating crash on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn late Tuesday night.
The three teenagers were traveling in a Cadillac Escalade when the vehicle was involved in a collision near 65th Street in the Bay Ridge area. According to reports, police said the SUV encountered slower traffic before a Honda HR-V traveling behind it struck the Cadillac from behind.
The force of the collision sent the Cadillac into a guardrail, where it spun and overturned. Three teenagers were ejected from the SUV and later died at nearby hospitals. Two other teenagers who were traveling in the Cadillac survived the crash and were hospitalized.
The occupants of the Honda HR-V were also taken to a hospital for treatment following the collision. Authorities have not released additional details about the extent of their injuries in the information provided.
