Keith Michael Donovan Obituary, BRAINERD, Minn. — Keith Michael Donovan, 37, of Brainerd, Minnesota, was killed Tuesday morning, August 25, 2026, after the vehicle he was driving collided with a train at a railroad crossing between Baxter and Pillager, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The fatal crash occurred along West Gull River Road Southwest, just south of Highway 210 near the Corner Store gas station. Authorities said Donovan was driving in the area when his vehicle collided with a train at the railroad crossing.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the crossing does not have a crossing arm. The circumstances surrounding how the vehicle entered the railroad crossing have not been released, and authorities have not indicated whether other factors contributed to the collision.
