Robin Parker Obituary, SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Robin Parker, 62, was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash at an intersection in northeast Springfield, according to the Springfield Police Department.
The fatal collision occurred shortly after 9 a.m. at the intersection of Kearney Street and Patterson Avenue, near the Bass Pro Shops Base Camp. Parker was riding a motorcycle westbound on Kearney Street when the crash occurred.
According to police, a pickup truck was traveling eastbound in the center lane of Kearney Street and was preparing to turn onto Patterson Avenue at the time of the collision. The circumstances that led to the motorcycle and pickup truck colliding remain under investigation.
Parker suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead. Police said no other injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
The Springfield Police Department is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal motorcycle crash. Authorities have not released additional information about the pickup truck driver or said whether any citations or criminal charges have been issued.
Parker’s death marks the 11th fatal motor vehicle crash reported in Springfield in 2026, with 12 people killed in traffic crashes in the city so far this year, according to police.
