Wilder William Seeburger Obituary, TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. — Wilder William Seeburger, 17, of the Traverse City community, died on August 16, 2026, following a head-on vehicle collision on Center Road in Old Mission Peninsula.
According to the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. between Mapleton and Smokey Hollow Road. Authorities said a southbound Ford F-250 crossed the centerline and struck the Honda CR-V that Wilder was driving.
The crash claimed Wilder’s life and has left his family, classmates, and the wider Traverse City community mourning. Traverse City Central High School confirmed that Wilder was the student who died in the collision, prompting grief among those who knew him.
